Why this exists

Local businesses get sold the wrong thing.

The options for a small business here tend to be a national agency that treats you as the smallest account on a long list, a freelancer who disappears for three weeks, or a do-it-yourself platform that quietly costs you every evening you own.

Shift & Shine is the fourth option: a local shop that handles the website, the social, and the ads together, priced so a business on Main Street can actually say yes.

  • Based in Huntington Beach. We work with businesses in the community we're part of, which is a strong incentive not to do bad work.
  • One point of contact. The person you talk to is the person building it. Nothing gets lost in a handoff, because there isn't one.
  • Our own tooling. We build the ad-generation and scheduling software we run on, which is why the retainer costs what it does.
  • No long contracts. Three-month minimum so there's time to see results, then month to month. We keep the work by being worth keeping.

How we work

Three commitments, in writing.

These are the terms we hold ourselves to. If any of them ever stops being true, that's a reason to leave, and we'd rather you knew what to hold us to.

You own everything

Your website, your domain, your hosting, your ad accounts, your social profiles — all in your name. Leaving costs you a password change, not a rebuild.

Flat fees, never a cut

We don't take a percentage of your ad spend, so we have no quiet incentive to talk you into a bigger budget than your business needs.

We'll say when it isn't working

In the monthly report, before you have to ask. Including when the honest answer is that you shouldn't be spending on this yet.

Right now

We're taking on our first clients.

Shift & Shine is new, and we'd rather lead with that than dress it up. There are a small number of founding-client spots open at a reduced rate, in exchange for being able to publish the results once there are results to publish.

  • What that gets you. Senior attention at a rate that won't exist once there's a client list.
  • What it gets us. The proof a new shop can't buy — with your approval on anything published.
  • Start with the free audit. Fifteen minutes on your business, no obligation, and you can judge the work from that alone.
