Privacy Policy

Shift & Shine Service ("we," "us") operates shiftandshineservice.com. This page explains what information the site collects, why, and what we do with it.

What we collect

The only information this site actively collects is what you choose to submit through one of its two forms.

Through the contact form: your name, business name, email address, your website address if you provide one, and your message.

Through the checklist download form: your email address, so we can send you the checklist.

When you submit either form, our server also automatically records the IP address and browser user-agent string of the request. This is used solely to help tell real inquiries apart from spam and automated abuse.

Analytics

This site uses Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages people find useful. It is cookieless: it sets nothing on your device, and it does not assign you an identifier that persists between visits.

What it records is aggregate — page, referrer, country, device type, and whether a form on the page was submitted. It cannot tell us who you are, and it does not follow you to any other website.

What we don't collect

This site sets no cookies. It carries no third-party advertising pixels — nothing from Meta, Google Ads, or any ad network. We don't track you across other sites, we don't build an advertising profile from your visit, and we never sell or share what you submit.

How your information is used and stored

Form submissions are stored in Firestore (a Google Cloud database) so we can follow up with you. Access is restricted to our own systems — Firestore's security rules deny all direct read or write access from a browser; only our server can reach it.

We also send email through Resend, a transactional email provider: a notification to ourselves when you make an inquiry, and the checklist itself if you request it. Replying to an inquiry notification goes directly back to the address you gave us.

Requesting the checklist does not sign you up for a mailing list. We do not send marketing email to addresses collected here.

This site is hosted on Vercel, which processes standard web server request logs (like IP address and request timing) as part of running the site — this is normal for any website and is separate from the form data described above.

We also keep a short-lived count of form submissions per IP address, purely to stop automated abuse. These counters expire on their own and are not linked to your submission.

Data retention

We keep form submissions for as long as reasonably needed to respond to your inquiry and maintain business records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time — see "Your choices" below.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we have about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing hello@shiftandshineservice.com. We'll respond within a reasonable time.

Children's privacy

This site is intended for business owners and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If how we handle information changes, we'll update this page and revise the effective date above.
